Low temperature toughness of 15MnNiDR
The chemical composition of 15MnNiDR mainly includes elements such as carbon (C), silicon (Si), manganese (Mn), nickel (Ni), phosphorus (P), sulfur (S), vanadium (V) and aluminum (Al). Among them, the C element content is between 0.12~0.20%, the Si element content is between 0.15~0.50%, the Mn element content is between 1.20~1.60%, and the Ni element content is between 0.30~0.80%. At the same time, the V element content is between 0.03~0.10%, and the Al element content is between 0.015~0.060%. In addition, the contents of P and S elements shall not exceed 0.025% and 0.015% respectively.
The content of these elements has an important impact on the performance and toughness of 15MnNiDR. For example, carbon is one of the basic elements that make up steel, and its content can affect the strength and toughness of steel; silicon and manganese are common alloying elements that can increase the strength and hardness of steel; the addition of nickel can further improve the strength and toughness of steel. toughness and enhances its corrosion resistance; the addition of aluminum elements can refine the grains of steel, thereby improving its mechanical properties.
15MnNiDR steel plate has a variety of remarkable characteristics, making it widely used in many industrial fields.

According to the national standard GB6654-1996, the yield strength of 15MnNiDR steel plate is not less than 345MPa, the tensile strength is between 490~630MPa, and the elongation is not less than 22%. At the same time, 15MnNiDR steel plate also has good low-temperature toughness and anti-brittleness. Through special alloy composition design and heat treatment process, it can maintain good toughness and ductility at extremely low temperatures, thereby ensuring safety and reliability when used in low temperature environments.
