316L ss pipe dimensions

316L stainless steel (SS) pipes are available in various sizes and thicknesses based on industry standards like ASTM A312, A213, and A269.  

The 316L pipe outer diameters range from 10.3 mm (1/8") to 323.9 mm (12") or larger for special applications. Common wall thicknesses depend on the schedule (SCH), including SCH 5S, SCH 10S, SCH 40S, SCH 80S, SCH 160, and SCH XXS. For example, a 2" pipe has a wall thickness of approximately 1.65 mm in SCH 5S, 2.77 mm in SCH 10S, 3.91 mm in SCH 40S, and 5.54 mm in SCH 80S.  

Standard lengths are typically 6 meters (20 feet) or 12 meters (40 feet), but custom lengths can be provided. The typical tolerances include ±0.5% for outer diameter, ±12.5% for wall thickness, and ±6.0 mm for length.
